The Katraj-Kondhwa-Phursungi-Solapur highway is also being widened. Pune Junction railway station is the major and the nearest railway station to Yewalewadi, located at a distance of 12 km via Kondhwa Road. There is a rapid development of Katraj Kondhwa road.

The entire area is of lush greenery protected under government regulations and hence the demand for housing is increasing due to its green surroundings.
